AFSCME Pres. Lee Saunders on MSNBC’s Jansing & Co.

by Dave Kunes  |  September 06, 2012

AFSCME Pres. Lee Saunders appeared live from the Democratic National Convention on MSNBC’s Jansing & Co. to discuss the stark differences in this election between Pres. Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney, and how AFSCME plans to make a difference.

“The 99% of folks in this country who are trying to play by the rules, putting bread on the table, sending their kids to school, they understand that the way you rebuild the middle class, the way you rebuild this economy, isn’t to give more power and wealth to the 1% in this country. It’s not trickle-down economics. The way that you rebuild the middle class is to have good health care, to have workers’ rights, and to rebuild this economy.”
