AFSCME Retiree Council

The AFSCME Retiree Council held its annual meeting Saturday and Sunday prior to the Convention. Attendees focused on the fight to protect public workers’ pensions and benefits.
The Retiree Council held elections and elected the following officers:
- Chairman Gary Tavormina, New York Retiree Chapter 82
- Vice-Chair Phyllis Zamarripa, Colorado Retiree Chapter 76
- Secretary Jim Moore, North Carolina Retiree Subchapter 165
