#ClintEastwood and Half-Time Hopes

The Super Bowl has come and gone. But one commercial is still talked about by viewers, journalists, pundits and politicians. Clint Eastwood’s commercial for Chrysler is making waves for a few reasons: its conservative spokesperson, its progressive message and its poignant take on the battles we currently face in this country.

The Twittersphere couldn’t say enough about this ad:

Whether you love the commercial or hate it, its core message rings true for union members. We “find a way through tough times and if we can’t find a way, we’ll make one.” And in our second half, we will find a way to pull together, to win.
