House Calls for Health Care

Last Saturday, AFSCME nurses from around the country joined community leaders in scrubs to canvass neighborhoods as part of our "House Calls for Health Care" initiative. AFSCME nurses knocked on doors in ND, NE, AR, LA, IN, OH, DE and ME.

The nurses encouraged people to call or write their congressional delegation to support real health care reform that includes a public health insurance option to lower costs, improve care and keep insurance companies honest.
