It's Official: SB 5 Heads to the Ballot

Ohio's Secretary of State announced today that the repeal of Senate Bill 5 will appear on the November ballot after certifying 915,456 of the 1.3 million signatures collected by the We Are Ohio coalition. Only 231,147 were required to place the referendum on the ballot.

We look forward to giving all Ohioans the opportunity to exercise their right to a citizen's veto of SB 5 on November 8, 2011."

Today's announcement comes on the heels of a new Quinnipiac Poll showing SB 5 would be defeated by 24 points, 56 percent to 32 percent, if the vote were held today.
