During the 2011 Next Wave Conference in Atlanta, Wisconsin labor activist and AFSCME Local 60 (Council 40) member Tim Birkley spoke with Sarah Kamal, an Egyptian democracy activist from the 6th of April Youth Movement, about the role of young people in the fight for democracy in Egypt and struggles for civil rights and workers' rights across the United States.
