Memphis Sanitation Workers Remember

Memphis sanitation workers from the famous 1968 strike stand in solidarity with workers across the country who are fighting the same battle for rights today.

 

Herbert Parson, Alvin Turner and Joe Warren, members of AFSCME Local 1733, shared their thoughts as part of events held in Memphis this year to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to oppose the attacks on public employees.
