Scott Walker, the GOP’s Great Uniter

Thanks to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s attacks on public service workers’ rights, he’s likely to face a recall election. But the GOP presidential candidates are his biggest fans. John Nichols points out in The Nation that one thing brings them all together: anti-union zealotry.

Newt Gingrich calls Walker a “national leader.” Mitt Romney is donating $5,000 to him. And Rick Santorum likes Walker’s “courage.” But AFSCME members are the courageous ones.
