Supreme CourtOn Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court will begin three days of hearings on constitutional challenges to the Affordable Care Act.

AFSCME members and supporters from other unions, faith groups and progressive allies are organizing picket lines of support to defend President Obama’s landmark health reform law. The demonstration will take place in front of the Supreme Court on Monday, from 8:00 -11:00 a.m. All are encouraged to join us in solidarity.

Two years ago today, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, putting access to quality health care within reach of nearly every American. To commemorate this event, several support groups will hold daily actions next week to highlight parts of the Affordable Care Act.
