Wisconsin AFL-CIO Ads Against Attacks on Worker Rights

February 14, 2011

The Wisconsin AFL-CIO launched an advertising campaign over the weekend to alert the public to the radical plan by Republican Gov. Scott Walker to strip almost all collective bargaining rights from state and local public employees.

During a news conference on Sunday to announce the statewide ad campaign, Wisconsin AFL-CIO President Phil Neuenfeldt said Walker was "using the Trojan horse of a budget bill" to propose a major change in state policy to deny the rights of working people.

Read more about the ads and Walker's unfair and unnecessary attack on unions in this article on the Journal Sentinel's website, and please add your comments to the discussion. The online feedback has been very negative — we need to change that and let people know what's really happening in Wisconsin.
