New York DC 37 Exec. Director Lillian Roberts is among a distinguished group of women being recognized by the National Museum of Women in the Arts in its Salute to Women’s Leadership CD-ROM project. In marking its 20th anniversary, the museum created this project as part of its series of Legacies of Women celebrations.

“We are honored that Lillian is being given this tribute,” says President McEntee. “I was proud to nominate her to be included in this important project so others will know the difference she has made in our union and in our nation. The CD-ROM is an important teaching tool for women and girls nationwide to learn about the women who made the sacrifices, did the work and blazed the trail for them to follow.”

Roberts, who was overwhelmingly re-elected to a third term as DC 37 executive director last month, has received numerous awards for her hard work, including one from the NAACP and the National Equal Rights Committee.
