Statement by AFSCME Pension Plan Chair Gerald W. McEntee Re: SEC Decision on Proxy Access

"This is an important decision that will lead to shareholders having equal access to corporate proxy statements. There is a desperate need for shareholder democracy and today's decision was an important step in that direction. The SEC deadline of July 15 for completing the review process speaks to the importance of this matter. We look forward to working with the Commission and other interested parties on this reform process."
