New Internet Feature Premieres

By

Get ready, cyber fans — AFSCME is bringing audio programs to the Internet. With a click of the mouse on www.afscme.org, you’ll be able to hear our union’s leaders and activists address topics of concern to us all. The premiere of this new audio program is Feb. 1, when AFSCME Pres. Gerald W. McEntee will discuss organizing: where the union is focusing its efforts, how organizers are building the union in the new millennium and where you fit in to organizing efforts. Do you have questions for McEntee? Please e-mail your questions — as well as ideas for future topics and guest speakers — to pubaffairs@afscme.org.

The audio feature requires that your computer have a sound card and will require software that can be downloaded free through a link on AFSCME’s Web site. Check the Web site for further details.
