Every year, the Jackson & Perkins nursery company develops thousands of new strains of roses, but markets only 15 or 20 of them. Now the company is selling one named after Cesar Chávez, the late, renowned farm-labor leader. It's available at garden centers, through the company catalog and by logging onto the Jackson & Perkins website.
