Through Workers' Eyes

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Three members of New York City's Local 371 (DC 37) were among 40 others who had their photographs exhibited at the U.S. Department of Labor recently: Basil Saunders Jr., Teresa Capriglione, and Malva Stennetts. They were provided cameras to document their own experiences and "describe their worlds" as part of a project organized by Bread and Roses, a cultural program of 1199 SEIU National Health & Human Services Union.
