National News: Union Plus Names Scholarship Winners
Four AFSCME members, and the children of 16 other members, are among the 133 winners of this year’s Union Plus Scholarship awards. AFSCME had the most winners of any union.
Recipients received a total of $200,000 in scholarships. They were chosen from more than 4,200 applicants from 44 AFL-CIO unions, including 660 from AFSCME members, spouses and their dependent children.
The students, in alphabetical order, are:
