Scholarship Time

AFSCME is proud to announce that applications for the Jerry Clark Memorial Scholarship will be accepted beginning March 15, 1997. The scholarship is open to active AFSCME members' children who are college sophomores with a political science major and a 3.0 average. One student will be selected to receive $10,000 for both the junior and senior years. The scholarship, named after the late director of AFSCME's Political Action Department, also includes an internship with the department. All applications must be received by the AFSCME Education Department by July 1. The winner will be selected by a drawing and will be announced Aug. 1.
