Patients’ Rights and Nurses’ Responsibilities is the theme for the United Nurses of America’s 7th National Nurses Congress. All AFSCME RNs, LPN/LVNs are invited. Come and receive continuing education credits for certain portions of the program. Highlights include tours of local health facilities, i.e., St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, District of Columbia Department of Public Health; workshops; congressional lobbying and more. June 25-27 in New York City

Several hundred AFSCME members in the East are expected to attend the first of two Regional Women’s Conferences for 1999.
