Workers Memorial Day

This is the day each year that AFSCME and the rest of the labor movement pay special tribute to the working women and men who die or become injured or ill as the result of their jobs.

This year’s theme will focus on making a proposed OSHA ergonomics standard a reality — to protect workers from back injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive strain injuries.
