• Seth Hendler, Field Services Director for the Pacific Northwest Area, after a courageous battle against cancer. Hendler also served the union in Illinois and at headquarters. 
  
  
• Robert William McEnroe, executive director of New York's DC 1707 from 1985-94 and a 1707 employee since 1964. 
  
  
• Joe Edney, former treasurer of Oregon's Council 75, member of Local 3336 and employee of the state's Department of Environmental Quality. 
  
  
• Daniel X. Campbell, veteran Capital Region Communications Associate for New York's Civil Service Employees Association/Local 1000, who collapsed and died just after addressing the Albany County legislature on the need to avoid privatizing the county's medical services.
