www.govbenefits.gov — is a user-friendly, interactive site developed by a partnership of federal agencies and organizations. It takes the visitor through numerous questions and then lists appropriate federal programs — from Social Security to veterans' benefits to unemployment compensation.

rxlist — works like the Physicians' Desk Reference, but it's free. It provides more details about medications than the inserts the druggist provides with your prescription. Health care professionals can also use this site to update their own skills and to get the most current information on medicines and potential interactions.
