Hail to the ‘Baron’

By

The final issue of George, the magazine started by the late John Kennedy Jr., named President McEntee one of the 50 "Most Powerful People in Politics." And far from number 50: He was given the 34th spot, the only labor leader on the list and ahead of numerous political operatives with better-known names.

"Without this union baron’s efforts on behalf of Democrats," George declared, "George W. Bush would have been out celebrating victory on election night — and early, too."
