The Women of Summer

By

Every summer, the United Association for Labor Education, the AFL-CIO’s Education Department and the Coalition of Labor Union Women cooperate in holding week-long, residential schools particularly geared to the needs and interests of union women. The courses are generally taught on college campuses, which helps keep expenses down. Listed below are the schools for 2001. The registration fee — usually in the $400-$500 range — covers room and board in addition to class materials. Fees are lower for commuters. Scholarships are often available.
