Help Them Say 'No'
Washington, D.C.
Do you know what to tell your children if they come home and say someone has offered them drugs?
If you're not quite sure, the AFSCME-supported National Youth Anti-Drug Campaign wants to help. The organization has published a brochure, Keeping Your Kids Drug-Free: A How-to Guide for Parents and Caregivers. It discusses challenges parents face, how they can influence their children, opportunities for starting a discussion, and what parents can do and say to keep their children drug free.
To order the publication, call 1-800-788-2800. Or go online to Parents. The Anti-Drug.
