Warrick to IVP
INDIANAPOLIS
David Warrick has been named to fill the empty post of International Vice President for the Central District. He has been executive director of Council 62 since February 2003.
Born in Indiana, the 42-year-old Warrick spent most of his adolescent years in Tokyo, where his parents served as missionaries. As a state of Indiana employee, he joined an AFSCME organizing campaign in 1990, and was elected to the first Indiana State Bargaining Team. He subsequently became president of Local 795 and, in 1994, a staff rep with Council 62. Five years later, he assumed the position of council associate director.
