Resolution No: 37 31st International Convention June 27-July 1, 1994 San Diego, CA

WHEREAS:

            Election day registration of voters is used in at least two states without any increase of fraudulent voting; and

WHEREAS:

            Voter participation increases dramatically with election day registration.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

            That AFSCME International supports legislation providing for election day registration.
