Digital Communications Intern

The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) seeks an intern with a passion for design, digital strategy and economic justice to support our digital communications team. 

We are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated undergraduate or graduate student who can commit 15-25 hours a week to assist with a range of activities, including updating web content, e-mail campaign production and support, data analysis and analytics, social media monitoring; and other duties.  

Applicants should have good writing, graphic design and communication skills.  Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Premiere) is a preferred. HTML, email and content management systems experience a plus. The schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to accommodate academic schedule. Compensation is $15.00 per hour.
