Since its inauguration the PEOPLE Presidents Club/VIP has proven to be an incentive for AFSCME members to sign up for PEOPLE checkoff, and is responsible for much of PEOPLE's fundraising success during the past six years; and

More than 30,000 AFSCME members and their families have joined the Presidents Club/VIP in support of AFSCME's political and legislative goals.

That all AFSCME Councils, Locals, Retiree Chapters and Presidents Club/VIP members join in an effort to double the number of AFSCME's corps of political activists by renewing their membership and encouraging their brothers and sisters to become members of the Presidents Club/VIP.
