Joseph J. Kreuser

International Executive Board, 1992

WHEREAS:

Brother Joe Kreuser has served AFSCME from the day he became a charter member of AFSCME Local 31, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin in 1961, and remained an officer for more than 30 years, until the day of his retirement; and

WHEREAS:

Brother Kreuser has worked without letup for the betterment of all of AFSCME's members in his positions with Council 40, which he eventually served as President and as International Vice President for the Wisconsin District; and

WHEREAS:

In keeping with AFSCME's ideal of union democracy Brother Kreuser has always exemplified uncompromising integrity and an abiding respect for the rights of the union's rank-and-file members ;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the International Executive Board extends to Brother Kreuser its deepest gratitude and, at one with the union's 1.3 million members, wishes him the best that life can offer in the years to come.
