Safety Box Toolkit

Got 5 minutes?

Using common sense is only part of the solution in preventing injuries, accidents and deaths. Safety Box talks are an easy way for workers to play an active role in raising awareness of hazards in the workplace. These talks are not meant to circumvent mandatory OSHA training that the employer must provide. The intent of a weekly Safety Box talk is to keep safety front and center in workers minds.

A Safety Box talk can take place during any shift, any day of the week. It takes 5 minutes to discuss the information on the card and could be the difference in returning home safely from a day’s work.
