WHEREAS:

AFSCME requires the filing of Local Union Annual Financial Reports by the local treasurers; and

WHEREAS:

The Hudson Rebate Report and the Surety Bond Report are also required reports; and

WHEREAS:

AFSCME desires the filing of the local budget and quarterly financial reports; and

WHEREAS:

Treasurers are required to submit the appropriate Federal tax filings, i.e. 990, 941, W-2, W-3.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That AFSCME negotiate with an accounting software provider (i.e. Quickbooks) to create a program that addresses the report needs for the local treasurers and facilitates the download of the required reports directly to AFSCME.
