Please donate to AFSCME Fallen Heroes Fund to help fellow union members affected by not just the wildfires in Maui, Hawaii, but also the wildfires in Washington state and historic rains and flooding unleashed by Tropical Storm Hilary in Southern California.

In an email to members today, AFSCME President Lee Saunders wrote, “Just as you answered the call for our AFSCME family in Maui, I’m hoping you will again donate to the Fallen Heroes Fund to support AFSCME members in these areas, who are not working overtime under grueling conditions while experiencing deep personal loss.”

President Joe Biden visited Maui on Monday to offer comfort and federal assistance. In Washington state, wildfires have killed at least two people. Though no fatalities were reported, Hilary washed out roads, uprooted trees and caused unprecedented flooding in Southern California.
