AFSCME x NO KINGS National Day of Mobilization
On March 28, AFSCME members and retirees nationwide are coming together with No Kings to claim our power.
When our families are under attack and rising costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. Billionaires are driving up the cost of living for working families while cashing in massive tax breaks at our expense.
In America, we have No Kings. Now is the time to get organized to protect our union freedoms to join together and collectively bargain. Because when working people have a voice on the job, our communities and our democracy are stronger.

No Kings Talking Points
When our families are under attack and rising costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. Billionaires are driving up the cost of living for working families while cashing in massive tax breaks at our expense.
Now is the time to get organized to protect our union freedoms to join together and collectively bargain. Because when working people have a voice on the job, our communities and our democracy are stronger
If this administration and their enablers in Congress cared about working people and our safety, they would be investing in health care, schools and communities, not giving massive tax giveaways to billionaires while cutting the funding that keeps families healthy and fed.
They’ve slashed Medicaid and Medicare, attacked Social Security and worked to eliminate our voice on the job.
Now, they keep trying to illegally withhold funding for Medicaid, child care and other services that make life affordable and that we pay for as taxpayers. We demand better.
At the same time, this administration is cutting support for working families struggling to get by; it’s also supercharging funding for ICE to terrorize workers.
ICE’s efforts are a direct attack on workers’ fundamental freedoms: to work with dignity, raise our families without the threat of violence from our government, and safely return home to our loved ones at the end of the day.
From nurses and teachers to sanitation workers and bus drivers, the people who keep our nation running have become targets in this administration’s extremist crusade against working people, and we won’t stand for it.
People shouldn’t have to choose between going to work and risking their family’s safety.
Our country does not belong to greedy billionaires or those who rule through fear and violence. It belongs to the people. And non-violent, people-led movements are how we stop attacks on our freedoms, strengthen our democracy through the right to free and fair elections, and build a better life for all working people.
Every time anti-worker forces escalate their attacks, more people stand up to fight back. March 28 will prove that we the people will not back down.
